Desert Globemallow (Sphaeralcea ambigua) is a bright orange wildflower that flourishes in the desert southwest of the United States after rainy winters and springs. Such was the case with these that I captured on February 26, 2019 in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona about 50 miles south of Phoenix under my favorite Ironwood Tree.
