Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This gorgeous scene was near the Bartlett Lake area
in the Sonoran desert of Arizona.
This was taken in the springtime when the desert was
aglow with all the red, yellow, white, purple flowers of the season.
The ocotillo, or "buggywhip" as people call it,
was the center of attention in this landscape scene.
The yellow brittlebush just made the chuparosa and the
cholla cactus stand out.
I was totally amazed at the wonderful color of all
the wildflowers that popped this spring.
The colors were outstanding against the blue shades of
the mountains across the lake.
This landscape is one that is truly pleasing to the eye.
